Huge Authentic Spear Point Marshall Smith BellThis exquisite piece was found in newton county, missouri more than 40 years ago. It measures a whopping 4.25 inches in length (11 cms). It was purchased some years ago by this museum explicitly for na exhibition here in ireland which compared american lithics with european neolithic material. While i do not claim to be an expert on american material, i hvae been analyzing lithics professionally since 1980. This piece exhibits the same tell-tale mineral deposits, silica sheen, patination, radiate oxidation, and wear consistent with authentic ancient ltihics from any geographical locale, and so i have absolutely zero problem guaranteeing it authentic. It is in perfect original condition (there is a tiny nick at 1000 and at the point. Both made in ancient times and probably when manufactured, and are mentioned here purely for the sake of clarity). A truly fine and handsome example worthy of any serious collection. Actual color is cream/beige as in imgae on middle left, not white. Please totally disregadr local pickup only!
